La Cantinetta di Rignana is in the heart of Chianti Classico, between Panzano in Chianti and Mercatale Val di Pesa.
The beautiful panorama makes worth the driving in the narrow country road. Here the air smells good between the fields and the Chianti Vineyards all around.
Tables and  benches are placed on the farm-yard in front of the restaurant, ready for the summertime when the panoramic view will leave you breathless.
Indoor you can still feel that old cosy atmosphere, with hams and salami hanging from the ceiling and still life paintings on the walls.
Paolo Abbarchini is the chef and the landlord of La Cantinetta. Due to his passion for the Chiantigiana cooking, he will welcome you with delightful  typical Tuscan dishes and other specialities prepared nowadays but following the ancient country recipes. 
( At La Cantinetta you can also taste all the products of the Farm of Rignana: the Chianti Classico Wine, the sweet Vinsanto, the extra virgin olive oil, the honey and many types of flavoured “grappa” distillates )
